Terms & Disclaimers

Last updated: September 2026

Please read these terms carefully. By using not2day ("the app"), you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

If you are in immediate danger or a medical emergency, stop and call your local emergency number now (112 in the EU, 911 in the US). not2day is not an emergency service and cannot respond to emergencies.

1. What not2day is

not2day is a self-help and support tool for people who are choosing not to drink or use, or who are working through an addiction. It offers a daily check-in, a moment-of-crisis flow, optional self-assessment questionnaires, and information about support meetings and helplines. It is a source of support and information only.

2. Not medical advice

not2day does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, or professional advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The content in the app — including the self-assessment questionnaires and their results — is for general informational and self-reflection purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional care.

The self-assessments (such as AUDIT, DAST-10, and the Gamblers Anonymous 20 Questions) are publicly available screening tools. They can suggest whether something may be worth attention, but they cannot diagnose you. Only a qualified professional can do that. Always seek the advice of a doctor, therapist, or other qualified provider with any questions about your health.

3. Not an emergency service

not2day cannot provide emergency help and does not connect you to emergency services. If you are thinking about harming yourself, are in crisis, or are experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or a crisis helpline immediately. The helpline numbers in the app are provided for convenience; we do not operate them and cannot guarantee they will be reachable at any given time.

4. Meeting and helpline information

The app shows information about support meetings, treatment centers, and helplines gathered from public sources. We work to keep it accurate, but times, locations, and phone numbers change. Where we have not verified a meeting's current schedule, the app tells you so and suggests you call ahead. Always confirm details before relying on them. We are not responsible for meetings or services run by third parties.

5. Your responsibilities

6. No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information in it is complete, accurate, or current.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, not2day and its creators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the app. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

8. Not affiliated with the fellowships

not2day is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. (AA), Narcotics Anonymous / NA World Services (NA), Gamblers Anonymous (GA), or any other fellowship or organization named in the app. References to these fellowships are for informational purposes only. The Twelve Steps, Twelve Traditions, and the names of these fellowships are the property of their respective organizations.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
